Where on earth has the past year gone? We’re already in October and the new 2017 beauty advent calendars are in full swing. I honestly feel like I’ve just closed the door on last year’s calendars!
With that being said, the selection this year looks incredible and I’m so excited to get my hands on a few.
So here is a rundown of some the Beauty Advent Calendars that are available this year, with links to purchase where available (these will be updated as and when). I’ve also put them in cost order to help if you’re gift buying, or if you’re just on a budget yourself.
Tanya Burr Beauty Advent Calendar – now £20 – BUY HERE
One of the most budget-friendly offerings this year comes from Tanya Burr and her super fun looking house design 12-day calendar. Being only 12 days does make it a little disappointing, but that being said the range of lip glosses, nail polishes and shimmer pots look lovely.
Benefit Beauty Advent Calendar – £34.50 – Launches in November in Debenhams
Finally, a Benefit advent calendar that isn’t eye-wateringly expensive, making it totally accessible for what are really decent miniature sized products. It included some of my all-time favourite products: Rollerlash Mascara, Hoola Bronzer, Porefessional Primer and High Beam Highlighter.
Marks & Spender Beauty Advent Calendar – £35 (with £35 spend on clothing or home) – Launches in November
This has to be one of the cutest calendar offerings this year, presented in a fun Christmas house with individual boxes items, and filled with a mixture of makeup skincare, hair and nail products. Some of the stand-out products have to be: Eyeko Magic Mascara, Alpha H Liquid Gold Rose and Rosie for Autograph Radiance Body Glow.
Soap & Glory Advent Calendar – £40 – BUY HERE
Soap & Glory ‘It’s a Calendar GIRLS!’ is full of 24 soaprises (love the pun) taking from both their bath and makeup ranges. The calendar contents include favourites like: Hand Food, Scrub of Your Life, Pillow Plump Lipgloss and Thick & Fast Mascara.
Amazon Beauty Advent Calendar – £50 – BUY HERE
A super exciting one in this year’s line-up is the new release from Amazon. The calendar comes in a marble design box, with a jenga-style layout that drops down new boxes each day. It contains 24 beauty products ranging from brands such as John Frieda, Essie, Maybelline, Rituals and Percy & Reed.
Makeup Revolution Beauty Advent Calendar – £50 – BUY HERE
This is definitely one for die-hard makeup lovers as it has so much of the range inside. The contents include: 3 baked highlighters, bronzer, 6 lipsticks, eyeshadow primer, liquid highlighter, 4 makeup brushes, travel mirror, pressed highlighter, strobe balms and a full-size Eyeshadow palette. That’s a whole lot of makeup!
NYX Lippie Beauty Advent Calendar – £50 – BUY HERE
This is one of the calendars I’m most excited about as I love a good lip product, especially from NYX! For a very reasonable £50, you get 24 of their best-selling products, including their matte lip creams and slick lip glosses. I mean who doesn’t want to open up a new lipstick every day of the month?! This one is definitely on my list!
ASOS Beauty Advent Calendar – £55 – BUY HERE
This is a great all-rounder for those who want to try a bit of everything. With 24 products ranging from skincare, haircare and makeup, it’s great to get a feel for so many different brands, and then get a sneaky surprise ASOS discount in window number 25! I love the marble look of this one and the brands look amazing too.
Look Fantastic Beauty Advent Calendar – £79 – BUY HERE
Worth a whopping £300, this one is a real dream when it comes to advent calendars. The calendar includes 9 full-sized products and 16 deluxe samples, 19 of which are exclusive to Look Fantastic. This one looks amazing and one that is swoon-worthy to every extent!
Diptyque Beauty Advent Calendar – £300 – Launches in November in Selfridges
Now onto the most expensive calendar in the guide and probably one of the most swoon-worthy. At £300, this is more like an actual main Christmas present, or a seriously snazzy gift to yourself, but either way, it’s still an amazing calendar and one that I only wish I could be opening throughout December. Containing 25 miniatures including candles, fragrances and body care, it’s perfect for the big Diptyque fan.
Which beauty advent calendar are you lusting after most this year? My favourites definitely have to be from NYX, Look Fantastic and Marks & Spencer.
